Epic Video games boss Tim Sweeney has snuffed out reviews {that a} Fortnite film is the “subsequent” online game to get a silver display adaptation.
Sweeney was responding to a tweet from film trade insider Daniel “DanielRPK” Richtman, who’d steered in a since-deleted publish that while some studios had already “handed” on a Fortnite film, the current success of game-to-film diversifications like A Minecraft Film and Tremendous Mario Bros. Film meant a Fortnite film was prone to be “subsequent”.
“You simply know Fortnite is subsequent,” Richtman wrote within the deleted tweet. “There was already discuss of a Fortnite film, however some studios handed on it. That’s clearly gonna change now.”
Sweeney shot down the hypothesis with a succinct “False”.
